Abstract

The electrical waves that propagate through heart underlie complex dynamics. Dysfuction of electrical excitation propagation gives rise to arrhythmia which may lead to a rapid loss of consciousness or death. It is known that the most dangerous cardiac arrhythmias are due to reentrant mechanisms. A computer simulation of cardiac cell models is one of alternative tools used in analysing the mechanisms of reentry [1-4]. These single cell models can be coupled together in order to simulate the electrical signals propagation of cardiac cells in variety of conditions. However, this large scale of simulation electrical excitation of cardiac propagation of cardiac cells. The simplest example of reentry is a circus models movement in a closed ring. We focus on understanding the dynamics of reentry in a one dimensionalring of cardiac cell models by using the LR1 numerical model and the analog-digital hybrid model. Here, we show a result for LR1 model simulation of reentrant propagation in a ring of cardiac tissue.
