Abstract

One of element in education management was education leadership. Teacher was the leader and simultaneous with theme for teacher ' day, 'United Rank Highly Teaching Profession,' then thought are suitable features should have and be made life culture by teacher bring to for raise teacher dignity follow requirement / client view / student. Based on rational that, then proposed some study findings were implemented in masters level. Study that was carried out aimed to identify dominant characteristics should be practised by teachers as leader of student's viewpoint. At the same time, study stabilized by looking whether there is different student's view difference sex, age and levels of achievement on those characteristics stated. This study is being conducted in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Pasir Gudang 1 which involves a sum 230 students as sample. Survey results are hoped able to give guideline to teachers of realistic nature owned to be recognized as leader, especially among followers (student). Instrument applies in study was questionnaire and data achieved analyzed using SPSS FOR WINDOWS's programme. Descriptive analysis has been used to see dominant nature, while 'one way anova' used to see student's view difference. Retrieval research showed acknowledged student many those characteristics proposed need to be practiced by teachers to look at as leader. Also found in many feature which need practiced by teachers as leader, there were no difference of view in different students sex, age and levels of achievement.
