Abstract

This review paper is discuss the characteristics such as the mixture formation and flame development of bio-gasoline. These characteristics of bio-gasoline were being studied because bio-gasoline has different fuel properties than conventionally used fossil fuel. However, there are a lot of methods that can be used to analyze both mixture formation and flame development of bio-gasoline. Many researches were performed to study the optical visualization systems that were commonly used such as Shadowgraphy and Schlieren method to analyze both mixture formation and flame development on bio-gasoline and to prove that it is suitable to be used to determine the bio-gasoline combustion characteristics.
