Increasing interest in learning space is discussed across the fields of architecture and education. This paper reviews the significance of providing a comfortable learning space (LS) for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) providers. We emphasize the impact of thermal, visual and acoustic conditions on students’ experiential learning (EL). Based on the review, we suggest the need to investigate the indoor environmental conditions of learning space such as engineering education laboratory, on the basis of student health, well-being and energy considerations. The implication of sustaining comfortable learning space for EL in the context of TVET is also presented.
