Abstract

Three-phase induction motors have been widely used in a varities of domestic applications and industrial sectors. It is because of its reability, simple construction and low weight. The main problem is that, dynamical model of induction motor was strongly non linear in term of the torque, flux, and current regulation. This project was an overview of the developement on Hysteresis Current Control Technique which could be applied to the three phase induction motor. The objective of the controller was to control the current that supply into the induction motor. This technique was called current control technique by comparing the line current with the reference current. Thus, the hysteresis will forces the line current to track the reference current by creating the pulse width modulation (PWM) signal. The signal was fed into the gate driver circuit and injecting the output to the three phase inverter. The model was perform in MATLAB Simulink and also implements the hardware by using Arduino as a digital signal processing system. The result of the performance characteristics were explained in this report in terms of the output motor line current and effect to the induction motor.
