Malaysia experienced two types of monsoon which is North-East monsoon and South-West Monsoon. During this monsoon season, Malaysia received abundant of rainfall and this has resulted in flood in certain areas especially east coast and southern part of Peninsula Malaysia. This disaster has resulted in big losses either in term of facilities, infrastructures, money or life. Thus, flood mitigation project must be carried out to reduce the losses. One of the most effective ways in managing and identifying the flood magnitude is by using modeling. Thus, this study was conducted with the aim to identify the flood area by using rainfall-runoff model. Infoworks RS was utilized as the software engine to model the flood. The required data such as rain-fall, water level, flow rate and maps were retrieved from respective authorities and field works. The duration of 2 years to 200 years of return period were used to calculate and generated rainfall pattern. The result clearly shows that the study area is susceptible to flood if the ARI more than 25 years was being used. The maximum of water level is 11.94 m with the flow rate of 1325.68m31s. Calibration process was conducted to verify the result by comparing the real data from flood event in 2007. The difference between the measured and calcu-lated result is 0.02%. 1 This can be concluded that the produce result can be I acceptable
