Abstract

Over recent years, Hybrid Excitation Flux Switching Machine (HEFSM) has been proven achieving performance that rivaled the Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (IPMSM). The HEFSM performances can be improved further by introducing dual rotor, This proposed machine are expected to produce high torque and speed machine that perform much better than HEFSM. Dual Rotor Hybrid Excitation Flux Switching machine (DRHEFSM) own two rotors which the rotor can be controlled individually due to present of circuit to each of the rotor. The purpose of this paper to validate the three phase operating principle of 12Slot-14Pole DRHEFSM and investigate the performance of the proposed design
