Abstract

This book is an introduction to the field of the strategic management with emphasis on the basic concepts and tools in developing a strategy. The organizations of this book begin with the analysis of strategic management process and follow by the some of the important approaches used in the strategic management process. The topic cover the most popular strategy approaches and tools used by organizations in order to formulate, implement and evaluate their strategic plans and achieve a sustained competitive advantage. This book also provides an understanding of some of the important tools used in the strategic management process. Here, the chapter is also presented in logically order as a guide to the readers.
