Abstract

Computer-based human resource management system (HRM) system is one of potential Information and Communication Technology (ICT) application in business organization (Betchoo, 2016). The ultimate goal of most HRM systems is to improve efficiency in managing employee records and helping directors in planning staff development programs (Yan, 2013). Like other paper based information systems, conventional paper-based procedures in HRM are very prone to various weaknesses. In tailoring a HRM system into home furnishing business, this research documented a number of observations that eventually lead to the bottom line of any profit-making companies, which is cost.
